INTRODUCTION TO CANCELLED JOB ORDER TYPES

 

Note:  new SkilMatch customers will not use these codes.  Job orders are now cancelled in a different way.  Contact your SkilMatch representative for further information.

 

Use these two-digit alpha/numeric code when entering a cancelled job order to indicate the reason for the cancellation.  There is a 35 character description attached.

 

Note:  you may use "blank" as one of the characters in the code.

 

Examples include NR = Rates too high, SH = Shopping, UA = Unable to fill-no one available with skill.

 

Note:  you must have authority to access the CODES menu to process this option.  Your user profile must have group profile SKMANAGE.

 

HOW TO ADD, CHANGE, VIEW, OR DELETE CANCELLED JOB ORDER TYPES

 

To begin, from any menu, click [Command].

 

The screen will display:

 

 

Key CODES and click [OK].

 

The screen will display:

 

 

Click [Cancelled Job Order Types].

 

The screen will display:

 

 

Add/Change:

 

Defaults to Add.  If you wish to add a code, leave this option selected (a black dot will appear next to the selection).

 

If you wish to view or change an existing code, click once on Change to select (a black dot will appear next to the selection).

 

Press the <TAB> key for additional keying.

 

Company Code:

 

Defaults to Company 01.  If you wish to work with codes for for a different company, key the desired company number.

 

Press the <TAB> key for additional keying.

 

Cancellation Code:

 

Key the two-character alpha/numeric code that you wish to add or change.

 

To continue adding, viewing, or changing a code, click [OK].

 

To NOT continue adding, viewing, or changing a code, click [Exit].  You will be returned to the “Operations Area System Codes: Data Entry of Approved Codes” menu.

 

If you chose to continue, the screen will display:

 

 

Cancellation Description:

 

Key up to 25 characters describing this code.

 

Press the <TAB> key for additional keying.

 

Active/Delete:

 

Defaults to Active.  If you want this code to remain active, leave this option selected (a black dot will appear next to the selection).

 

If you want to delete this code, click once on Delete to select (a black dot will appear next to the selection).

 

To continue adding, changing, or deleting this code, click [OK].

 

To NOT add, change, or delete this code, click [Cancel].

 

To exit this option and return to the CODES menu, click [Exit].

 

Repeat the preceding instructions to add, change or delete additional codes.  When you have finished with this option, click [Exit] to return to the CODES menu.
