A
job order represents one employee on assignment at one customer. Each job order contains necessary data to
pay the employee, bill the customer, calculate employer and employee taxes, and
accumulate bonus hours.
Each
time a customer places one or more orders, you should enter an ‘Open’ (no
employee yet assigned).
An
‘Open’ order is eventually ‘Filled’ (employee assigned), ‘Cancelled’ (client
cancelled order), or ‘Unfilled’ (you were unable to fill).
