List Social Security Numbers

Selecting this option will produce a printed report of the social security numbers that have been scheduled for a merge.  The numbers were keyed into the system using the [Enter Social Security Numbers] item.  This same report is generated automatically as a part of the entry option, so there is no need to select this option unless you do not know what social security numbers are currently in the file awaiting a merge.

“Incorrect/Replacement Soc Sec Numbers”, report PB705, displays the following:

Company

Incorrect Social Security Number

Applicant Name (associated with the Incorrect SS#)

Replacement Social Security Number

Applicant Name (associated with the Replacement SS# if the replacement already exists in SkilMatch)

Count of Social Security numbers on the list

Inspect these reports closely to verify that you have the right employees on this list.  Whatever you have entered is exactly what will be merged.  If you have made data entry mistakes, the system will follow your instructions and merge.  If you tell the system to merge Sue Smith with Mary Jones, it will do so!

To begin, select the [End-of-Year] menu in the Pay and Bill library.

Click [List Social Security Numbers].

If there are numbers currently in the file waiting to be processed, the screen will blink briefly and you will remain on the menu.  The report will display in your printer output queue as report PB705.

Social Security Numbers that are merged CANNOT be “unmerged”!
